Afya Ibomu is a powerhouse in the world of plant-based living. A certified Holistic Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Science degree in her field (Nutrition/Dietetics), she's been  passionate about holistic plant based living since 1990.

Award-Winning Author and Cookbook Creator:

Afya isn't just an expert; she's also a prolific author. Her book, "The Vegan Remix! A Soulful Spin On World Cuisine," was lauded as one of the best vegan cookbooks by Vegetarian Times Magazine. Another creation, "The Vegan Soul Food Guide to the Galaxy," received a nomination for a prestigious African American Literary Award. She's also written the "Get Your Crochet On!" series for crafting enthusiasts and co-authored "Eat Plants Lift Iron."

Celebrity Clientele and Media Appearances:

Afya's expertise has attracted a star-studded clientele. She's worked as a celebrity nutritionist, chef, and crochet designer for artists like Erykah Badu, Common, Dead Prez, and Talib Kweli.

Beyond the music scene, Afya has shared her knowledge as a co-host of the RBG FIT CLUB Podcast. Her work has also graced the pages of The Source Magazine, Mass Appeal, Vegetarian Times, Vogue, and Refinery29. She's even been featured in "The Black Girls Rock Book" and "The Feel Rich Movie."
